Watch Out For

Heartburn happens when the stomach produces more acid than
what is normal. It causes the lower esophageal sphincter to
malfunction so it causes acid reflux. Thus, if you want to
avoid this from happening you just have to avoid heartburn
foods or foods that can trigger heartburn for you.
Actually, there is a long list of foods that can cause
heartburn. So know the heartburn foods that maybe causing you
this discomfort so you will no longer have them or avoid making
it worse than it already is. Heartburn foods that may cause you
to develop heartburn are the following: chocolate, peppermint,
fried and fatty foods, tomato and tomato products, caffeinated
food and drinks and alcoholic beverages. Also watch out for
onions, garlic, mustard, spices, vinegar, sodas and citrus
fruits.
You have to take note that not everybody has the same
heartburn foods. It just means that the food that maybe causing
you heartburn is not the same for all. Each person who is
experiencing heartburn should find out for himself what is
causing his acid reflux. Of course, eating too much can also
cause you your heartburn. So you have to watch out for that
too.
