Heartburn foods that may cause you to develop heartburn are the following: chocolate, peppermint, fried and fatty foods, tomato and tomato products, caffeinated food and drinks and alcoholic beverages. Also watch out for onions, garlic, mustard, spices, vinegar, sodas and citrus fruits.

You have to take note that not everybody has the same heartburn foods. It just means that the food that maybe causing you heartburn is not the same for all. Each person who is experiencing heartburn should find out for himself what is causing his acid reflux. Of course, eating too much can also cause you your heartburn.
